Our History

Building Professionals Inc. is a family owned and operated residential home remodeling and design build company established in 1994. Based in Westford MA, BPI is proud to serve many area communities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 

The LaFleur family is the foundation of BPI, led by owner Bob LaFleur. He got his start in the construction business selling building materials to contractors. One thing he noticed about the business was the lack of quality customer service, and soon vowed to change all that when he decided to break into the home remodeling business himself.

The business slowly grew over the years, - in 2008 BPI became a dealer for MasterBrand Cabinetry and opened a small showroom in Vinal Sq. in North Chelmsford, MA - in 2014 they moved to their current, larger, more convenient Design Center location in Westford which includes, cabinetry, tile, countertops, cabinet hardware, and more - in early 2019 they expanded the showroom to create an all-inclusive Home Improvement + Design Center which houses BPI, Concord Cabinetry, and Custom Design Sunrooms. In 2020, they began the process of opening a second Design Center location in the White Mountains. The Littleton, NH Design Center is located downtown on the back side of Main St. This large space boasts a wide variety of samples and displays that will leave you feeling inspired to reimagine your home.

Today, BPI continues to offer a one-stop- shopping process for its clients, with communication at the forefront. From that first phone call through warranty work, BPI offers a personal touch that you just don’t get with the bigger companies.
